● Returns And Procedures 

We have a friendly, clear, and transparent 10 day Returns Window Policy. With a “No Questions Asked” approach, we will refund your payment, if by any chance you are unhappy with the item/ jewelry piece or gemstone that is being purchased, provided it remains undamaged and unchanged and is returned within the window. 

Please note at Navratan.com our return policy is wholly dependent on the item/ jewelry piece or gemstone that is being purchased. Below are the different categories: 

· Loose gemstones, Jewelry, “Ready to be Shipped” pieces 

· Custom, “Made to Order” pieces entirely based on the item being purchased.

● Special Conditions 

Each order at Navratan is considered unique and special although in the case an item has been created with specific customization (each situation will have reserved rights) the Navratan team will contact you about a change in our return policy as it will not meet our standard returns policy. Details will also be provided with the invoice at the time of purchase. 

● Third-Party Laboratory Reports

Navratan offers a unique third-party gemstone report with each purchase free of charge. Each report comes with the details about the gemstone, treatments, quality features, and dimensions. 

In the situation you wish to request a specific third party certificate, from a laboratory other than our partnered one, additional charges will apply.

Gemstones are cut with different shapes and cuts specific to each piece. Here is a reference chart for all the different shapes, allowing you to understand which shape you investing in. 

The design team can create something like this - although in colored gemstones these are a lot of mixed cuts 

● Clarity Grading 

Payment & Payment Methods

At Navratan our secure HDFC Bank Payment Gateway accepts both Credit and Debit cards. 

VISA, MASTERCARD, CIRRUS, AMERICAN EXPRESS (AMEX) 

Our secure online system also can conduct Bank Transfers and NEFT transactions allowing an easy and secure transfer of funds for larger amounts.

Please Note: Payment must be fully credited to the Navratan account before any order is processed, both for Custom Orders and Ready To Ship Pieces.

Additional Security on Orders 

As additional security and as per Indian government rules, each purchase is recorded and verified with the inbuilt CAPTCHA system and our thorough backend team. Orders that exceed INR 20,000 on the Navratan website, will require additional information like PAN CARD Details and Aadhar Card Details, to verify the purchase and comply with government standards. 

● Taxes & fees 

All prices are inclusive of all local taxes and fees. There will be no additional taxes and fees charged. 

International shipments on the other hand might have custom charges and VAT. Please note that we will not be responsible for any customs charges, duties, VAT, etc. that your country may charge. This tends to vary from case-to-case and is beyond our reach. 

Keeping this in mind, there is no import duty on gemstones in the USA, Canada, and Europe. Most other countries charge anything under 1%. VAT can be reclaimed by professional buyers. 

We do recommend contacting your local customs for further details or getting in touch with our customer service team as we will be happy to share older experiences. 

● Import Duties, Taxes/VAT 

Please note that we will not be responsible for any customs charges, duties, VAT, etc. that your country may charge. This tends to vary from case-to-case and is beyond our reach. 

Bear this in mind, there is no import duty on gemstones in the USA, Canada, and Europe. Most other countries charge anything under 1%. VAT can be reclaimed by professional buyers.

Warranty and Product Guarantee

At Navratan we offer each customer a Lifetime Warranty if the piece were to show any manufacturing defects. After a thorough quality check, even if there are defects like Porosity, Incomplete solder points contributing to a compromised piece of jewelry, we will immediately take the necessary steps to make it right. In the event you believe your piece has been shipped with defects, get in touch with our customer support team at the earliest. 

Please Note: Only Manufacturing defects will be deemed acceptable for a replacement or a free alteration. 

Gemstones at Navratan come with a third party certificate that offers assurance and guarantees the quality of every gemstone. Jewelry that has been manufactured and

sold at Navratan have hallmarks that are inscribed on every piece illustrating the karatage of the gold, the manufacturer's symbol, along with the weight of the piece.

● Repairs and Wear and Tear 

Wearing jewelry every day does in turn have its effects on the fine gemstones and metals. We understand this and offer every customer a Chargeable Repairs Service in the event you wish to repair your product. Repairs consist of changes like: 

● Worn off metal finishing contributing to a discoloration, 

● Scratches on the metal, scratches, and chips of the gemstone, 

● Discoloration because of exposure to strong acids, 

● Wear and tear of prongs over time, 

● Loss of a gemstone 

Please note: Repairs are not liable for a replacement or free alteration. 

Shipping, Insurance & Liability

We offer a seamless shipping policy once your order has been confirmed and paid. Our reputable logistic partners like FedEx, UPS, Sequel, DHL & TNT, assure careful handling until delivery of the item. We also offer inclusive insurance on each item being purchased making it a stress-free purchase for you. 

Please note: Returns and exchanges must be completely covered by the customer.

● Shipping Times and Cost 

 We offer Free Shipping on all orders above INR 10,000 (only within India). 

Local Shipping Charges: 

Orders below the value of INR 10,000 will be charged a flat shipping rate of INR 300 (only within India).

 We offer Free Shipping on all International orders above INR 2,00,000 (≈ USD 2500). International orders below INR 2,00,000 (≈ USD 2500) have the option of EMS shipping (only in countries where EMS operates) or Express Shipping. 

EMS Shipping Charges: 

Orders below INR 40,000 will be charged a flat shipping charge of INR 2,100 and orders above INR 40,000 but under INR 2,00,000 will be charged a flat shipping charge of INR 4200 will be applicable. 

Express Shipping Charges (delivery in 2-5 working days): 

Orders below INR 40,000 will be charged a flat shipping charge of INR 3100 and orders above INR 40,000 but below INR 2,00,000 will be charged a flat shipping charge of INR 4200

Track Your Order

All our shipments can be tracked online. Some EMS shipments will not be tracked, but this is solely based on the country of delivery. Our reputable logistic partners like FedEx, UPS, Sequel, DHL & TNT, assure careful handling until delivery. All tracked packages will have a Tracking Number attached to them. As soon as the product is

dispatched from our office, the customer will receive an email with the Tracking ID and a link that redirects to the website of the partnered shipping agent.
